Stamptacular Blog Hop

Welcome to the Stamptacular Blog Hop – this series is all about showing you the amazing Close to My Heart Stamp Sets, as well as the Stamp + Thin Cuts sets, that are currently on sale until the end of April. The Stamptacular sale occurs only once a year, so this is a great opportunity to get some deals on those products you’ve been eyeing!

One of my girlfriend’s recently shared that she is expecting a baby. She is the TENTH person I know pregnant, including myself (I’m due in mid-May with my second boy 💙) – I guess the pandemic has been good for one thing: cute babies! Needless to say, baby-themed stamp sets have become somewhat of a staple in my crafting arsenal the last few months 🍼👶

Since my friend doesn’t know the sex of the baby yet, I used both pink and blues throughout. Not to mention, I’m not a huge fan of “gendering” colours anyway – my first-born son’s favourite colour is purple. Ask me how easy it is to find purple dump trucks and tricycles 😂

For this card, I challenged myself to use only products featured in our Core Catalogue, which is often overlooked in the excitement and hype of the seasonal idea books that come out every two months. The adorable animals are from the Nursery Days Stamp + Thin Cut set, which I coloured in with our Spectrum Noir TriBlend markers. The Congrats banner is from the Cutest Baby stamp set. Both are currently on sale for the Stamptacular sale.

Of note, stamps will be available all month, but any sets with thin cuts are available only until supplies last. So, if you see something you like, don’t hesitate to clear that wish list!

• Inks:  Intense Black Exclusive Ink, Sage Exclusive Ink Spectrum Noir Triblend Alcohol Markers (to colour in the animals)
• Stamp Sets: Nursery Days Stamp + Thin Cuts, Cutest Baby
• Paper: Lovely Paper Packet, Blue Belle Cardstock, Ballerina Cardstock (to note: you can also get the coloured cardstock in the Lovely Coordinating Cardstock packet, which includes other colours that match the Lovely Paper Packet)
• Embellishment: Blue Belle Loose Sequins
• Adhesive: Thin 3-D Foam Tape, Dual-Tip Multi-Bond Glue Pen, Liquid Glass (for the sequins)
• Other: White Cards and Envelope Value Pack
