Arrows of Hope Designs was originally started to share creative ideas for card making using Close to My Heart products on social media. It quickly grew into an Independent Consultant (Maker) role for the company, which I am proud to represent. I also accept requests for custom-made cards for all occasions.
Arrows of Hope Designs was created by Aggie, a mom of one boy (with another on the way), and an elementary school teacher in Ontario, Canada. In 2020, faced with another lockdown in my city due to the pandemic, I was trying to find some way to help pass the days, when I (re)stumbled onto Close to My Heart through a conversation with a colleague. I had once been a customer with the company, but then life got busy. Having always been interested in crafting, hand lettering and planning, it felt like a perfect option to try again.
My Journey with Close to My Heart
I fell in love with CTMH products immediately – it was very apparent that their design and quality was above any other crafting materials I had used before. I quickly signed up to be a VIP customer to take advantage of the 15% spending credit on all of my purchases with CTMH. This allowed me to get more products at no extra cost for my new crafting hobby. Ask me about this option if you want rewards on your own crafting hobby purchases, or visit Be a VIP here.
Within a few weeks, I realized just how much I enjoyed not only creating with Close to my Heart products, but also sharing my new passion with others on my social media. I had a really positive response, with many questions about the materials and techniques I was using. I figured I would take the plunge, and signed up to be an Independent Consultant (Maker) with CTMH in December. Ask me about this option if you see yourself sharing your love of paper crafting with others, and want even more rewards on your hobby. You can also learn more about Joining My Team here.
My goal for this site is to inspire you to see yourself as creative, and to be brave to explore your own abilities with crafting. Whether it’s making cards for loved ones, creating scrapbook layouts for your cherished family memories, or even trying a more intricate project like invitations or home/nursery decor, I am here to help you get started. Reach out any time using the contact form, joining me on my Facebook page, or following me on Instagram.
I realize that not everyone has the time or the desire to create cards from scratch. I also know how hard it can be to find the perfect card for that special someone.
I offer a selection of purchase options for cards for a variety of occasions. I also accept requests for custom-made designs to create the perfect card for your loved one. I’m happy to work with customers one-on-one virtually to ensure that the card is a unique piece of art that speaks to the recipient and can be cherished for years to come.
Visit the Handmade Cards tab in the menu to learn more about the variety of purchase options available.
The Story Behind the Name
The name and logo of Arrows of Hope Designs stems from my personal experiences. While going through a difficult time in my life in my mid-20s, I heard the song “Follow Your Arrow” by Kacey Musgraves, and it struck a chord. Ever since, arrows took on a personal meaning, symbolizing the effort it takes to keep moving forward and forging your own path in life. Seeing a red cardinal can be a sign of hope, which we could all use a little of these days, and so Arrows of Hope Designs was born.
